World No Tobacco Day: Awareness and health camp at Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Chengalpattu
Along with the Medical Students Association of India’s chapters at Chengalpattu Medical College, SRM Medical College and Muthukumaran Medical College, a three-hour event was held on World No Tobacco Day 31st May, 2016 at the local Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, Chengalpattu. Over two batches, a total of 61 attendees were sensitised to the evils of tobacco and the benefits of quitting. A few more of these events are scheduled for this week at places like the local offices of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.
